The unique bow mechanism protects the corners of the mouth, broadens contact surface over the entire tongue and maintains a soft rounded contour resulting in general tongue relief. The round twist provides the mouth piece with multiple pressure points and delivers an uneven slide through the mouth. It is a medium functional bit.
