The unique bow mechanism protects the corners of the mouth, broadens contact surface over the entire tongue and maintains a soft rounded contour resulting in general tongue relief. The round twist provides the mouth piece with multiple pressure points and delivers an uneven slide through the mouth. The half spoon has a lower cheek piece; it serves lateral guidance and rests securely in the mouth.
