The product is used extensively because of compliance with drug regulations in sports medicine. Iceman contains Arnica and Echinacea together with traces of South African grown herbal products. Arnica is well known as a topical application for bruises and sprains. Echinacea is known for its anti-microbial and anti-bacterial effects, preventing infection and repairing damaged tissue through inhibiting the activity of the enzyme hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidase, activated by various pathogens and inflammatory processes, destroys one of the building blocks of tissue, hyaluronic acid. Reduction in this destruction process improves the integrity of cells. Menthol applied to the skin dilates the blood vessels, causing a sensation of coldness followed by an analgesic effect. As we’re a very small business, we’re usually unable to personally deliver your orders to you. We can, however, arrange for delivery as follows:
• Delivery to you by courier • Collection by you from our premises. ( Sorry, but we do not accept credit card payments, so all payments are to be made by EFT before collection, or exact payment must be made in cash upon collection.)
Due to continual issues with the South African Post Office (e.g. strikes), we no longer offer a standard postal delivery option.
Delivery prices vary, depending on the volume and weight of your total order. We will only charge you as close as possible to the actual delivery costs.
Obviously, delivery charges may be prohibitive for one or two small inexpensive items. If collection from our premises is not an option, then please consider adding extra products to your order to make the delivery costs worthwhile.
